I went to Israel!

It's been a while. Not sure how to start this post. I've been staring at my computer and moving from one tap to the next, debating on how to start blogging again.

You see, I had a plan. A list of what

I would post and share with you related to my photography. It was from how to plan a quinceañera to the benefits of booking a family photo shoot. But God had other things in mind.

I decided to dedicate more time to my full-time job as a real estate media specialist with ListerPros and in ministry at church. Plus, I've been dealing with my anxiety. And I've been traveling. Went to spend time with family in Mexico and went to Israel, the Holy Land.

Israel is beautiful!

Now for this blog post, I want to share a glimpse of my trip to Israel. First, it was amazing. From the start of the trip, God talked to me and set me straight. He basically told me to get up and get to work. I'm out of the darkness. Time to embrace the woman I've become and get to work. In 2018, my depression was really bad. It felt like I was in a dark tunnel where the light seems too far away. It was suffocating and paralyzing. Felt like I had nothing to offer. Thanks to God, He pulled me out of the darkness. It wasn't easy and it took time. I had to learn to be obedient and to trust Him. Happy to say that I'm ok now. I'm traveling. I'm a full-time photographer. My home is full of positive energy. It's all thanks to God. And this paragraph doesn't really sum up what God has done and I wish I could fully express it.

Just know that the woman you see today is all thanks to Him.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9

Places I went while I was in Israel

I did share pictures, obviously, on my Instagram stories while I was there. Go check out the 'Israel Trip" highlight on my IG profile. However, I did not share everything on Instagram Stories. Here's a highlight gallery from the trip. Click on the picture and scroll through. We were in Nazareth, Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights, Caesarea, Mount Nebo, Madaba, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Masada, Petra, and more.

I used the Sony a7IV with a 16-35mm lens and my iPhone to take pictures and selfies. Edited all the photos on my iPhone using the photo app. However, I'm planning on editing the whole trip on Lightroom. Once I'm done with that, I'll share a link below and on my social media. I hope the pictures inspire you to consider visiting the Holy Land.
